Established
in 1984, Furlani’s Food Corporation entered into the marketplace
as a small producer of garlic spread and chopped garlic. Having built
a business on the premise that customers deserve a quality product
made with the best ingredients, and recognizing an area of unsatisfied
consumer demand, Furlani’s added a baking facility to produce
garlic toast, garlic loaves and breadsticks by the early 1990’s.

As Furlani’s reputation for quality and
value grew, it became evident that its original facilities would not
be sufficient to satisfy the increasing demand for its products. To
maintain its continued commitment to quality and innovation, Furlani’s
acquired a fully automated HACCP plant totaling 140,000 sq. ft. in
1999 to house the company’s head office, North American distribution
centre, and regional sales office. 
Today, Furlani’s Food Corporation manufactures
and distributes its fresh and frozen products to bakeries, deli’s,
frozen grocery and food service operators throughout Canada and the
US. The secrets of Furlani’s success lie with the master bakers
and seasoned product development team. In using their considerable
skills and their passion for perfection, Furlani’s manufactures
