Bruschetta -The Real Thing

Mix four dice tomatoes with one small onion, chopped, 5 tbsp olive oil. Add three tbsp of white vinegar, parmesan and a pinch of salt and pepper. Apply to eight slices of prepared Furlani’s garlic toast and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Pizza Garlic Toast

Apply two tbsp of your favorite pasta sauce to each frozen slice of Furlani’s Garlic Toast. Top with one tbsp of shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese and your favorite pizza toppings Heat according to package directions.

Carb Conscious Mini Mexican Pizzas

  • 4-5 slices of Furlani’s 5 Carb Texas Garlic Toast
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup of salsa
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 pitted black olives, sliced
  • 2 tbsps. fresh cilantro

Preheat oven to 400F (200C). Prepare Furlani’s 5 Carb Texas Garlic Toast according to package directions. Top with salsa, olives, green onions and cheese, and bake until cheese melts. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.

Carb Counter’s Pepper and Zucchini Toast

  • 6-8 slices Furlani’s low carb Texas Garlic Toast
  • 3 small zucchini, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 each: red, green and yellow peppers, sliced lengthwise and in half
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. chopped basil
  • 2 tbsps. Feta cheese, crumbled

Lightly brush all vegetables with olive oil. Heat non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add vegetable slices and cook until lightly brown. Arrange on garlic toast, prepared according to package directions. Sprinkle with basil and Feta, and serve.

Healthy Start Breakfast Toast

  • 4-5 slices of Furlani’s 5 Carb Texas Garlic Toast
  • 2oz cooked turkey breast, cubed
  • 2 tsps. water
  • 1 each: red, green and yellow peppers, diced
  • 2 tbsps. chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 4-5 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsps. low fat cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp. chopped parsley

Prepare low carb toast according to package directions. In medium-sized bowl, whisk together egg, egg whites and water. Heat olive oil in non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add turkey breast, onion, red, yellow and green peppers. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add egg mixture and cook to desired consistency. Top each slice of warm toast with egg mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
